Jason Thuli

VP, Software Development

ROLE CONTRIBUTION

Jason Thuli has been an enterprise-level application architect and developer for over 20 years, focused exclusively in healthcare since 2011. He currently serves as the Vice President of Software Development for Equum Medical and is responsible for designing and developing applications to help integrate a seamless flow of communication and data between Equum Medical and the hospital bedside staff.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Equum Medical, Jason worked for another telehealth company for over 11 years. He helped grow the software development department from a single developer into a team of 9, which sped up company growth, increased clinical efficiency, and greatly reduced patient mortality.

EDUCATION

Jason attended the UW-Platteville and UW-Eau Claire with a major in computer science. After university, he furthered his education by attending New Horizons Computer Learning Center in Madison, WI before being singled out by the instructors and being offered a job on the spot to work as a software developer and instructor for the school.

PERSONAL DRIVERS & PERSPECTIVE

Family is everything to Jason. He has been married to his wife, Kim, since 2006, and loves spending as much quality time as he can with her and their two kids, Adam and Lanie. Outside of family, he continues his love of software development by working on his own side projects, playing basketball, dabbling in woodworking, and hauling out his telescopes just to marvel at the night skies!

WHAT DOES EQUUM MEAN TO YOU?

The telehealth industry is still relatively new, but Equum Medical has assembled some of the best and brightest from all sectors of the telehealth field. I’m incredibly excited to be part of this team that is perfectly designed to revolutionize the industry, increase patient care, and move the industry forward.
